I just want to state that other than an amazing product, this company has amazing customer service. The day after ordering my Cerma Engine Treatment I received a call to inform me that I did not need a full 2oz, and then they asked to change my order to a 1oz and refund a portion of my purchase. I also received a complimentary Cerma Fuel Boost 2 Pack. Most companies would have just taken my order and my money, but this shows that these people are honest and care about what they do. Thank you Cerma. -- Tyler C.

Before using Cerma, this car, a work car with 160K miles, would jerk every time it changed gears when you drive and the water temperature would be pointed a little over half way up the temperature gauge. I was a little skeptical before but kept reading the testimonials and watching the videos and decided to buy to see how it works.
I followed the instructions on how to add these additives to a "T" and I have to honestly say I am blown away with the results. After adding Cerma Engine Treatment, Cerma Transmission Treatment, and the Cerma Fuel Boost, and revving it for the recommended time for the Cerma Engine Treatment, I took it out for a spin and drove for about 25-30 miles and before I even got to the highway, I felt the transmission shift smooth like it was a new car, and there is a noticeable power difference. I was easily passing up cars that were already going over the speed limit. But the biggest change I noticed after adding Cerma was the temperature difference. This car's normal operating temperature was a little over half the gauge and while I was driving, I could see the needle on the temperature gauge slowly drop the more I drove. I just thought that was just because the air was cooling the radiator while I was on the highway, but I pulled off the highway and came to a stop light and the temperature gauge was still reading cool. Now the gauge only reads a little over 1/4 way up the gauge even while parked and idle.
I am blown away at the results and from what I heard, it is only getting better the more the car is driven.
I'm totally looking forward to adding Cerma to ALL my cars now. I cant wait!! Thank you Cerma!! -- Tuan H.

Only 2 days into the treatment with 22k miles on the odo only 100 miles driven since treated and already noticing a big difference when driving it on the highway and even in the city. I must say I've been made a believer. The car feels more normal and definitely feels like it runs much smoother when really getting on the gas. As for the idling, starting to notice that it feels more 'confident' when idling now than it did before. Definitely money well spent. --- Sly4c

"I've read this thread for a while and decided to buy some AT treatment and 2 engine treatments yesterday. But not for my Veloster. I bought a beater truck (165K miles) for hunting and use around the house so I'm going to treat that with CERMA because why not. I'm also putting an engine treatment into my moms car that just crossed the 300k mark. I've done homework on CERMA, listened to the discussions/arguments on here, and for me the ""proof"" will be the difference in these 2 vehicles after the treatments. Based on that I will decide whether or not to bother putting it in my VT. )) – TheBlackBass UPDATE: So it's been a couple of months since I put engine treatment in my mom's (2001 Toyota Avalon) and my girlfriends car (2004 Toyota Corolla), I only told them I was doing something to their engine. After about a week my mom came to me and said that her hard shifting had disappeared and that it was smoother at idle. I drove her car myself at that point and sure enough, the quick/hard shifting had stopped. That was unexpected but good news. I noticed it had more pick-up on the highway when trying to pass but my mom doesn't drive like that so she probably never noticed. My girlfriends car has around 285K, after a month she mentioned that she could accelerate on the highway without having to floor it. I put the transmission treatment in my truck (it had a very delayed then hard shift into second plus i just bought it used) and immediately could feel that working. At first it ran worse, then over the course of half an hour in city driving it smoothed out considerably. The shifting in all gears is practically unnoticeable, though occasionally the delay into second shows up, but that is speed and acceleration based and largely improved from what it was. All-in-all I feel more confident in this product and in the technology behind it. I will be adding treatments to my car in the near future. I felt the power gain in my girlfriends car but not as much in my mom's. However both idled smoother, and the shifting issue on my mom's was an unexpected bonus. This isn't some miracle treatment for adding horsepower but it does work. I could even smell some of the gunk in the engine burning off as I was driving the cars after first adding the treatment. I'll be adding it to my car, both the engine treatment and the turbo treatment, more for reliability and longevity reasons. If it can smooth things out on two cars that are at or over 300k then it can help my car reach that point. – TheBlackBass"

Dear Cerma, I started using your products in the summer of 2013. I travel all over the country in my 1991 Dodge D250 two wheel drive with a 5.9 L Cummins turbo diesel. I have a topper on it and drive between 57 and 60 mph when on the highway. I always fuel up the same way and avoid biodiesel when I can help it (Affects my mileage drastically). I averaged about 22 mpg before I started using Cerma engine oil. About 6 months into using the Cerma I noticed my highway mileage average coming in at around 23.4 to 23.9 mpg. A year later I was averaging 25.5 mpg. This last run I had from Ohio to Florida on consecutive tanks I averaged 27.2 mpg with a high this year of 28.1 mpg (I attribute the 28.1 to driving a almost 300 miles at 45 mph and not my usual 57 to 60 mph.). The other thing I noticed is the color of the oil on my dipstick. Before Cerma I used Shell Rotella 15w-40 and changed it every 5,000 miles. After every oil change the oil was just as black as it had been before I changed it. The color of the oil using the Cerma was actually worse during my first two oil changes. My oil change intervals with the Cerma is 30,000 miles and I change the filter every 10,000. This oil change coming up will be my third oil change with the Cerma and even though the oil that is currently in the truck has over 20,000 miles on it I can still see the dipstick and read it. It is not honey colored by any means, but I have never seen the dipstick so clean since I have owned this truck. My truck is a valuable tool which helps me earn my living, so I take the best care of it I can. I'll use Cerma products until they quit making them or I quit driving. Cerma is one of the few companies I have ever found that under promise and over deliver. Thanks for a fine product! -- Tom C.

I recently treated a 1100cc motor on a 1984 Honda v65 Sabre VF100S and began with these compression numbers:
Cylinder #1: 120/170, Cylinder #2 : 142/170, Cylinder #3 : 138/170, Cylinder #4 : 140/170
After treatment, compression improved significantly. My post-treatment numbers were:
Cylinder #1: 168/170, Cylinder #2: 172/170, Cylinder #3: 168/170, Cylinder #4: 170/170
After treating the sump with the Motorcycle treatment I drove the cycle for about an hour at middle speeds (45-55mph). The cycle, after about 5 minutes began to operate more like a new cycle. It had significantly more engine balance and harmonics. The engine idled more smoothly, and climbed up seamlessly across the middle range rpm’s. It truly smoothed out any hesitation and delay across the entire power band. I re-synced the carburetors and the idle could have been set as low as 500rpms. THAT IS ABOUT 600 RPMS UNDER THE STOCK SETTING.
The 1984 Honda's also had a wet sump design for lubrication. Which meant the Cerma Engine Treatment was working on the transmission and the wet clutch as well. Now when down shifting the motorcycle has a smoother down shift, and a new and lighter gear sound. The clutch also felt different. You can find a middle or 1/2 on and 1/2 off clutch setting with a smoother than ever drag to and from the clutching action. The cycles I rebuild get stainless steel brake lines and fresh fluids which tightens up the clutch action significantly making the effect of this treatment quite noticeable.
I will be adding this to all the cycles I rebuild. This is a no-brainer. The exhaust was almost entirely smoke free. With a valve adjustment coming my prediction is that there will be barely any noticeable exhaust. Which means nearly everything is burning during the combustion process.
I will be treating another 1100cc v65 Sabre and four Honda cb700sc Nighthawks over the next few months. The treatment will be applied to newly rebuilt engines as well as 32 year-old engines. Truly amazing! -- Robert K.

8/27/14 - FYI! I had my car at the dealer this morning for a recall service appt. My 2011 Fusion with 81k miles on the 2.5L 4 cyl duratec engine was "quieter then a brand new engine in any car found on the lot..." according to the service technician who worked on the car.
8/14/14 - When I changed to Cermax 5W20 on 7/8 I had 73,903 miles. Today, I have 80,533. This is the result of two round trip drives, one to Las Vegas, NV and recently to Albuquerque, NM. Both drives stressed the engine! I drove through extreme temperatures of 102' -104' degree heat, the a/c loading the engine, and sustaining highway speeds of 75 - 80 mph through the mountains of Colorado and Utah, and the desert of New Mexico. The engine remains quiet and runs smooth
8/3/15 - Just an update. I've not driven my car since 7/22, after returning from Vegas, a 3,400 mile trip. I'm prepping to drive now on another trek to Albuquerque on the same oil and filter. The engine sounds very quiet.
5/20/15 - A quick note to you about my experience with the 2 oz. engine treatment. I added the CERMA to my hot engine oil with the engine off because I was unable to with it running. Following the instructions, I drove the car for 20 minutes, about 25 miles combined city/highway driving and noticed an immediate sound and operational difference in the engine! It was quieter and idled so smoothly, it gave me the impression the engine was not running. WOW! I am impressed.
I am beginning this journey on a 2011 Ford Fusion, 2.5L 4 cyl engine that has used Amsoil Signature Series 5w20 for three years. This car has performed flawlessly on several long distance road trips, and I will be taking the car again on two more long trips in the coming months that will total about 6k miles combined total miles. I wanted to make sure my engine holds up and continues to deliver the 29 mpg I've been getting. I suspect (and hope) the mpg will improve over time as I continue to drive around with CERMA in the engine.
Thank you so much for talking with me the other day and answering my questions about CERMA. I do appreciate the time you spent explaining your reasons why you designed such a fantastic product and have kept it close to home! The next CERMA products I'm going to be ordering are the AC, Transmission and eventually the motor oil. I'm excited and looking forward to the long term results I experience and will keep you apprised of my experiences. Warmest Regards, --Douglas E

I just wanted to tell you about my Volvo semi that I drive. It is a 2015 Volvo Day Cab with A/T. It now has 39,500 miles on it. I treated it at about 10K and fuel economy increased even though it was a new truck to about 4/10 mile per gallon. When the oil was changed by the company the mileage dropped about 1/10 Mile per gallon (Not Cermax Oil). When I treated the trailer axles I gained about 1/4 mile per gallon. The truck rolls better and I have noticed that when going down hill I gain 4MPH after treatment than before treatment. I checked with one of the other drivers with the same truck running the same route. I am getting even after the oil change 7.3 MPG and he is getting between 7.0 and 7.1 MPG. I also have 8 tires on the ground compared to his 4 tires on the ground. -- Chad S. Osage, Iowa

It was running poorly with lots of issues. A loud 2 into 1 collector with no baffling, no back pressure, it had to be run with the choke partially on, so it was starving for fuel. Either not jetted to the exhaust or plugged with varnish. I had to ride it from North Adams halfway down CT to his home since he had injured himself. 9/10/2015: Hi, Just wanted let you know about the incredible results experienced with your Auto Transmission Treatment. I had already used the Engine Treatment around 1 ½ years ago and then added the Transmission Treatment in March 2014. When I first bought the car around 6 years ago the transmission randomly clunked a bit when stopping at lights. This clunk pretty much progressed to almost every time I stopped and was quite loud. I put the Transmission Treatment in before going on a 40 minute drive. My friend said, “If that fixes that clunk, I’ll call it a miracle.†I stopped at a couple of lights on the way and it was still clunking, however by the time I reached the 3rd set at around 15 minutes on the road, it stopped completely. Then all the remainder of the trip...zero clunk! It still happens on a rare occasion but is 95% better. It’s a miracle! P.S.: To me, the photos below are visible proof that Cerma continuously keeps engines clean. After seeing photo (left) posted by a member on the Veloster Forum, I checked the dipstick on the Mitsubishi (right). It’s not a before and after shot, however I remember that previous to Cerma it was covered in hard lacquer and now 2.9 years later there is only a small amount of visible lacquer present above the top oil level. -- Photos available upon request - email email@example.com
12/6/2014: Dear Cerma Team, Thank you so much for your brilliant product! Cerma STM3 Engine Treatment literally saved my car… and saved me from having to buy a new one. My 1996 Mitsubishi Magna V6 Sedan had been gradually losing power and then was struggling to drive up any hill. For over 12 months it had also been burning around 1 to 1 ½ litres of oil per month. A friend recommended Cerma. Even though I had nothing to lose, it was still with some hesitation that I first used the Engine Treatment in January 2013. Wow! Within the first week the power was restored and I only added 1 litre of oil after 11 months. To my continued amazement, I noticed massive fuel economy improvement. Instead of using approx. half a tank of fuel when driving to my daughter’s house and back it’s using approx. one quarter of a tank! My car is now running better than ever and the driving experience is as smooth as glass. When driving slowly, the question still comes up… “Is the engine still running?â€, even though I know it’s just so quiet because of Cerma. For me Cerma STM3 = Peace of Mind and Happy Driving! The amazing Cerma technology! The reason I say amazing is because I worked at Douglas Aircraft in the engineering changes on the DC-9 program way back in the early 1960’s and we had a Cerma type product that did two things, stopped friction and heat, the difference was that technology back then was kept under lock and key in a high security vault. It cost $5,000 per ounce. I take my hat off to John Murray and the Cerma team for breaking the code of this technology and making it available to the general public for just pennies a treatment. I know by putting the One Time Cerma Treatment in my car or aircraft engine that I can double the life of my engine and save thousands of dollars in oil changes, maintenance and fuel savings. Less friction and heat is a real game changer. My bright red Ford 150 with the chrome and tow package that I bought brand new right off of the show room floor had 120,000 miles on it when I put the Cerma Treatment in my engine and transmission. I could hear the change in my engine the minute that I put the Cerma treatment in and I was having shifting problems with the transmission and now that has disappeared. I love the Cerma technology. All I can say is thanks guys, this stuff works! --- Capt. Gary Pylant (the pilot)

I put both transmission and engine treatment in our Maxima last night, drove about 35 miles. I noticed a smoother running engine right away. Drove another 50 miles today, gas mileage is up about 2 miles a gallon. Will switch to Cerma Oil in about 3k miles. -- Sherman J. Round Rock, TX

6/5/15: I wanted to let you know my 1997 Toyota is running like a top since I started using your products. I am ready to change to Cerma Oil and am looking forward to ongoing improvement. The transmission shifts like a dream and the power steering no longer ""groans"" at low speeds. Thanks for some great products. -- Raul
5/15/15: I spoke with you when I first read about Cerma and have since purchased the transmission, power steering and oil treatment for my two vehicles. The 1997 Toyota is running even smoother than before. Transmission shifts like a dream and the power steering has quieted down by about 50% and continues to improve with more driving. My Mercedes also runs like a dream and engine noise except under heavy acceleration is almost non existent. Thank you for the product and the guidance. -- Raul

6/3/2015: John, I have been using the Cerma oil in my 2012 Prius for over a year now an was thrilled to get 53-54 miles to the gallon. Recently, I just got lazy one day and took my Prius in to the Valvoline oil change and had them put in their top of the line fully synthetic to the car. The next six tanks of gas gave me no better than 47 m.p.g.!............Yes, that's right, the brand new clean conventional oil gave me a 6 m.p.g. reduction in gas mileage after I removed the Cerma Oil. Cerma Oil is in a class of one! This is the best oil I've ever used period! Thanks again! ---Steve A. (Cincinnati)
6/4/2014: John, the new technology in the Cerma Motor Oil is the real deal for sure. I have seen my gas mileage increase to over 650 miles a tank in my 2012 Prius (58 M.P.G.) Each tankful of gas just got more and more miles after the EVO oil was put in and I love the ideal of having a Self-cleaning oil the Prius engine! *:) happy I will never have to go back to conventional oil again. Thanks again Cerma. ---Steve A. (Cincinnati)

I had an appointment with Acura concerning an alignment. My 2000 Acura TL has 302,000 miles. As you remember from our phone conversation an application of the engine treatment gave me a very noticeable increase in gas mileage. But, also, the engine performed smoothly and very efficiently. When Acura technicians heard the engine (unaware of the Cerma STM-3 engine treatment I added) they could not believe with such high mileage how quiet and smoothly it performed. The technicians put the engine through a series of diagnostics and with a sense of disbelief and said it is functioning like a new engine. No appreciable knocks or vibrations etc.etc.etc. They also took it out for a road test. I never did tell them about the Cerma treatment. In short they remained stupefied as to its performance and lack of hesitation as is so customary in an over exhausted engine. -- Gerald S.

This is the best stuff I've ever used. I did not buy from Amazon but bought the Engine Treatment direct from the manufacturer. Now that being said, this is the best stuff I've ever used. I have a 2007 Chevy Colorado with an Inline 5 cyl. Engine. Did not know at the time I bought the truck that inline 5cyl. engines vibrate badly do to to the extra 5th cyl. and I mean really bad vibration at stop lights and especially when I first crank up in the mornings. Poured the Cerma in like it said to and no more vibration I mean right then and there immediately. I've driven about 800 miles so far and love it. So whoever said this stuff does not work is full of it. I am an ordinary guy not a paid spokesman or anything like that. Let me put it this way I'm going to buy two more bottles for our car and minivan I like it that much. And going to buy some for my trucks transmission to. My truck is the guinea pig. I hope this helps. -- Brad (Reposted from Amazon)
I tried Cerma in my truck first and after 1 1/2 months my gas mileage went up by 3 mpg . My 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7 L went from 14 mpg to 17 mpg local and hyw from 22 mpg to 25 mpg. Then I put it in my lawn mower. Before it was smoking and after 3 times mowing the lawn it stopped smoking. I bought the 2 cycle oil mix and my snow blower worked great this winter. Thanks for this product. -- Seth W. Farmingville, NY

Cerma Engine Treatment. My wife bought a brand new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee last September. She had approximately 15,000 miles on the engine when I added the Cerma Engine Treatment. After the suggested 3,000 miles I changed the oil and used CERMAX 5-20W oil. She drove an additional 3,000 miles. The new Jeeps have a built in MPG screen and I almost didn't believe the results. She is getting 4 more MPG on the highway and 3 MPG more city driving. I found this to be almost unreal since this was a BRAND NEW ENGINE!! Excellent product would recommend it and have recommended it to many others! --Dan P. Brookfield, CT

When I first went to use this product, I was a bit skeptical, I had an issue with my truck starting. I had tried every chemical to run through the gas tank claiming to "fix" rough starts, all of them failing miserably. I ran the Cerma fuel treatment through and sure enough, next day, my truck started up beautifully. That was enough to convince me to try the transmission treatment to see if it could handle the transmission issue, sure enough after running it through my transmission for a couple hundred miles, 1st to 2nd smoothed right out. Now I've got the engine treatment. This is the only liquid I've ever seen that actually not only works and does what it says, but exceeded my expectations. Excellent product! -- CJ, Danbury, CT

Update: 4/23/15: Rocket fuel. Just wanted to say that I have now treated all three of our autos with the Engine, trans, and power steering treatments and they are running like new, if not better than new. Keep up the good work. Now I'm going to get the air cond. treatments for them and the house. Brad T.
Update: 2/25/15: I love the Cerma engine treatment. I now have 800 miles with the engine treatment and my 2007 Chevy Colorado has never ran better, and I bought it new with 13 miles on it. It purrs when I fire her up in the mornings with no vibration, and it used to vibrate bad, and what's crazy is I really thought that it was all in my head and that my truck would go back to normal after a week or so ,but it hasn't. It's only getting better. This stuff is so good I Just bought two more for our car and minivan and Three bottles of the trans. treatment. Can't wait to check them out. Thanks, Brad T.
Original 2/9/15: Just wanted to say that I poured in the engine treatment this morning and drove about an hour 60-70 miles. My Chevy Colorado which is usually very shaky because it is a inline 5 cylinder (did not know that at the time I bought the truck but that's another story). Anyhow my truck no longer shakes. When I got home I went inside ate lunch and then went for another drive just to see if it was all in my head, I fired up my truck and low and behold it runs smooth. I only hope that it stays this way. So far so good. Oh yeah today is the 9th of Feb. 2015 at 3:44 EST. Will keep you up to date in the future on how things are going. You have my permission to post this if you wish. Thanks, Brad T.

I own a 2002 Mack semi. My truck started using 2 to 3 gallons of oil per week. I was told I needed to rebuild the motor, rings, sleeves, rod, and main bearings. The motor had an excessive amount of blow by. I added Cerma and followed the instructions carefully. Over the next three days the truck used less than a half gallon of oil. Six months latter the truck has not used any oil between oil changes, and the blow by has almost disappeared. At my last oil change I pulled an oil sample. On a million mile motor the iron should have been between 50 and 120 parts per million. A new motor should be between 30 and 40 parts per million iron. My oil sample came back 20 parts per million iron and less than 5 ppm of other wear metals. The oil sample was taken at 18,000 miles on the oil and over a month of idol time. The numbers should have been elevated based on the miles and time on the oil. I have seen a ten percent in fuel economy in all of my trucks. This is the best product you can get for your truck or car!

Transmission Treatment from Oct 26th, 2014: Had a rough (down) shifting Acura RL automatic transmission; other products helped but not past the short-term. This product worked like a charm. There is zero problem now. I could not be more pleased. -- MichiganSooner via Amazon
